A 46-YEAR-OLD has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a woman on two occasions.Mark Vorley, of Beards Road in Fremington, appeared in front of North Devon magistrates yesterday charged with sexual assault on a female.The alleged incidents both took place on March 2.The case was adjourned for trial on a date yet to be confirmed.Vorley's bail conditions were not to go to Pilton House Care Home and not to contact the named witnessed.

Crab traps smashed at Crow Point
MORE than 100 crab traps have been smashed in what police believe to be an ongoing feud between North Devon crabbers.The incident saw between 100 and 150 cast iron traps destroyed after they were set up at Crow Point, near Braunton.It is believed the pots were smashed using a hammer in an overnight attack between July 13 and July 14.
