A CONMAN builder has been jailed for fleecing an 85-year-old dementia patient into paying £20,000 for shoddy repairs on her home.Darren Scott was caught after a visitor from Age Concern realised that huge sums of money were being siphoned out of frail spinster Margaret Cash's bank account for minor work on her cottage near Okehampton.The police were called in because the painting and rendering and building of a new porch should have cost half of what Scott charged.
