AN estranged husband smashed his ex-wife's car light after going to pick up their family dog.Steven Carter, 29, of Westacott Meadow in Barnstaple, appeared in front of North Devon Magistrates' Court where he pleaded guilty to damaging the car on July 31.The court heard Carter and the woman had been married for four-and-a-half years before they separated in April.On July 31 she was away from home and received a phone call from her daughter saying Carter was there, so she returned.She arrived home...
